She's got the moves! Felicity Jones showed off her Kung Fu moves on Wednesday night's The Tonight Show

'I'll take you through step by step,' she told Jimmy. 'First of all we have to lock eyes. So I'm going to take out your blaster.'

She brandished the stick at the talk show host's head prompting him to urge her to do her demonstration in slow motion.

'Did you not understand about that. You want to hit me?' he said.

'Then I'm going to take you round the head,' she said with another swift swipe.

Victory! Felicity held up her hands as the crowd cheered while Jimmy languished on the floor

Slow down! Jimmy was taken by surprise at the ferocity of Felicity's skills

'One again, slow it down. What are you doing? I'm afraid of you!' exclaimed Jimmy who decided to put an end to the demo when Felicity threatened to 'take him out by the leg.'

In the next improvisation, Jimmy told Felicity he would pretend to be a Stormtrooper with a gun.

Removing her heels, the actress only needed three swift moves to leave Jimmy languishing on the floor.

'It was many hours of devotion and practice and doing it over again to make Jyn a bad**s,' she said.

It's a trap!  Jimmy informed the star he was now 'afraid' of her fighting skills

Looking stunning in a black flared polka dot dress with sheer overlay skirt, the 32-year-old British actress happily discussed her role in the film which is released on December 16.

Set before the events of 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope, Rogue One sees the Rebel Alliance enlist Jyn to help steal the blueprint of the Galactic Empire's planet-vaporising Death Star.

In the original Star Wars film, those plans wind up in the hands of Princess Leia and then Luke Skywalker, who ultimately successfully destroys it.

The film's expansive cast includes such names as Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker and Riz Ahmed.

'I'm laughing now, but at the time, it was physically exhausting,' the actress recently told Entertainment Weekly about the demands of filming.

'It took a lot of hours of practice, and I worked with a kung fu coach, and I learned to fight, even though I never thought beating up Stormtroopers was something I’d be doing in my job.

'It came through hard work and lots of practice and rehearsals.'
