A white shopper at a Chicago department store was caught on video throwing what has been described as a racially charged tantrum after accusing two African-American employees of discriminating against her because she had voted for Donald Trump.

The incident took place Wednesday evening at a Michaels store in the Lakeview section of Chicago and was captured by another customer, Jessie Grady, who then shared the footage on YouTube, where as of Monday afternoon it has been viewed more than 181,000 times.

Grady later launched a GoFundMe campaign titled 'Stand Strong Against Racism' to raise money for a Michaels manager, described as a mother of three, who was yelled at by the white pro-Trump shopper.

Public meltdown: This unnamed woman at a Michaels department store in Chicago was caught on camera launching an expletive-laden, racially charged tirade at two black employees

Face-off: The angry shopper confronted another customer, Jessie Grady, when she spotted her recording her rant on a cellphone

The incident took place Wednesday evening at this Michaels store in the Lakeview section of Chicago

According to the description of the online fundraiser, Jessie Grady had just gone through the checkout line at Michaels and paused at the exit to show her 2-year-old daughter a Christmas ornament when she witnessed the other shopper, a young woman in a dark puffer jacket, checkered scarf and rain boots, launch into a '30-minute racist rant,' which involved yelling, swearing and 'repeated references to the fact that employees were African American.'

According to Ms Grady, the woman in the video went into a foul-mouthed, racist meltdown because she did not like that a store clerk at the checkout counter had offered her to purchase a re-usable bag for $1 for her larger items.

Grady stated that she was directly behind the woman in the checkout line and witnessed that the employee did nothing to provoke the 'verbal attack' that followed.

On Facebook, Grady reiterated that Michaels employees did nothing to the angry shopper and 'never yelled at her,' despite her repeated claims to the contrary seen in the nearly 11-minute cellphone video.

Grady’s footage capturing the confrontation begins with the furious customer yelling at a store employee: 'Yes, I voted for Trump, so there. You want to kick me out because of that? And look who won.’

The young woman can be heard telling the staffer: you want to discriminate against me and name call me?' She then pulls out her cellphone and begins recording the employee.

Enraged: The shopper verbally lashed out at Grady, accusing her toddler of stealing and telling her to go home to her 'cheating' husband

Epic rant: The white customer directed her rage at a black store manager, claiming she failed to reprimand a black cashier, whom she repeatedly called 'an animal'

The riled-up Trump supporter later confronts Grady for videotaping her and launches into a vitriolic tirade, in which she accuses the woman's 2-year-old child of stealing and claims that her husband is unfaithful to her.

I don’t know what you think you’re videoing, lady,’ the shopper tells Grady. I was just discriminated against by two black women and you being a white woman and you literally thinking that’s OK… why don’t you go home to your husband who’s cheating on you.’

The wound-up shopper then directs her rage at an African American store manager, accusing her of failing to reprimand the cashier, who is also black, for allegedly screaming at her.

I’ve been discriminated twice by you,' she screams. This woman [cashier] came around and screamed at me from across the goddamn store like an animal! An animal! Animal!

You screamed at me from across the store like you were in your own living room, you’re an animal!’

She's with him: The customer declared she had voted for Donald Trump and suggested that was the reason why the black staffers had discriminated against her

The woman later doubles down on her outburst, saying of the cashier that she was screaming like she’s out on the streets.’

According to Grady, the manager remained calm throughout the entire ordeal, telling the irate shopper the cashier had merely told her they did not have large enough bags for her items.

You're not gonna give me some sort of a liberal lecture about who's a human,’ the shopper screams in the video after derisively imitating the manager telling her earlier, We’re all human. Your job is to ring people up and tell them to have a nice day.’

The woman then shouts out: You're are not gonna tell me who I can vote for and who I can't vote for.’

The shopper later called the police, repeatedly complaining that she had been discriminated against and had been refused service by two black women.’

She also can be heard referring to Jessie Grady as a 'creep' for videotaping her and muttering something about wanting to bring a lawsuit so big, so big, so big!’

The irked shopper was apparently enraged that the cashier had offered her to buy a reusable bag for $1 for her larger items

In the wake of the incident, Grady revealed online that it took police 45 minutes to respond to multiple calls from several customers. By the time officers arrived, the raving shopper had left.

I do hope that this woman received some type of medical attention, but I don't think this was a breakdown, I think it was someone who felt so entitled that her views had been validated that she genuinely expected other white people to be on her side about this,’ Grady stated.

Mystery woman: By the time police responded to the scene, some 45 minutes later, the unidentified woman had left the store

Grady explained that she decided to start the GoFundMe campaign on the store manager's behalf 'to try to make it up' to her and brighten up her holiday season after she had become the target of this 'racist attack.'

She added: 'I’d like to show her that many people are horrified by how this woman treated her, and that we stand with her and appreciate her hard work.

She inspired me because despite the hateful words that were being hurled in her direction, she stood in that entranceway [sic] calm and unmoving to protect her staff and customers. Her calmness calmed me and I saw a true leader, which in today’s world, is something to be rewarded.'

The initial goal of the fundraiser had been $400. As of Monday afternoon, the campaign has drawn more than $4,600 in donations.

In an update posted Monday, Grady said the Michaels manager has confided in her she that would like to get her Master's degree in psychology so she could pursue her dream of becoming a guidance counselor, and she also has a small side business knitting scarves and hats for homeless teens.

I had no idea when I stopped in that store to buy a santa [sic] hat for my baby that I would meet such an amazing person who I now consider a friend and ally,’ Grady said.
