A CNN crew covering Donald Trump's appearance in Indiana on Thursday has come under fire after one of the producers made a joke about the President-elect's plane crashing while getting ready for a live shoot.
The female producer was working with correspondent Suzanne Malveaux as she prepared to go live from Carrier Corporation headquarters in Indiana for a report on Trump's visit to the company.
After going through the soundcheck the crew began to discuss with Malveaux what sign they would use to let her know that Trump's plane had arrived and he was on his way to the press conference.
Then, with less than a minute to go until Malveaux began her live report, the producer made some sort of sign off camera and said: 'That means his plane’s crashed.' She then quickly said that she was 'just kidding'
The flight the producer was joking about was not just carrying President-elect trump either, but also Vice President-elect Mike Pence,
That joke then found its way online less than 24 hours later, with FTV Live posting that minute of footage from the CNN live shoot on Friday morning.

CNN was forced to quickly issue an apology to both Trump and his transition team in the wake of the video's release.
'An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday,' said the network in a statement.
'We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.'
CNN did not however release the name of the producer who made the comment.
Malveaux, who was the only person on camera when the producer made the joke, will not be facing any disciplinary action for her role in the exchange.
The national correspondent for the network said nothing when she heard the joke, and for a brief moment looked visibly stunned that the producer would even joke about the country's future leader dying in a crash.
Trump has yet to comment on the remark, and there is a possibility he may not speak about what happened given his own past with comments made off camera that were picked up by hot mics.
CNN apologized and in a statement that the producer had been disciplined, but would not reveal her name (Trump and pence above exiting the plane on Thursday)
Not a fan: Trump has yet to say anything about the comment, but has been a very vocal critic of CNN ever since he began his run for president (Trump's plane on Thursday above)
And if Trump should decide to publicly criticize the producer for her comment, it would be just the latest in a long list of grievances he has voiced with the network.
The President-elect very publicly voiced his issues with the network when he hosted CNN President Jeff Zucker at Trump Tower last Monday for a media summit.
A source told the New York Post that Trump went after Zucker first in the room of 30 executives and anchors from the major broadcast networks, saying to him: 'I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed.'
