Matt Damon threw a holiday party for his new film Manchester By The Sea, which he produced and which stars his pal Casey Affleck.

One of the guests at the affair was Maria Shriver.

The former First Lady of California brought two of her children with Arnold Schwarzenegger: Christina, 25, and Katherine, 26.

The girls looked nicely done up for the swishy event which saw Lindsey Vonn, Kate Beckinsale, Diane Keaton, Faye Dunaway and Michelle Williams attend.

Maria looked proud as can be as she posed with the two girls.

Katherine is an author. She has written Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who's Been There and Back.

Another event: Here Maria was with son Patrick, who models, and Katherine at the 10th Annual California Hall of Fame Awards at The California Museum in November in Sacramento

Christina is a graduate of Georgetown University.

Shriver also has sons Patrick and Christopher. Patrick is a model who used to date singer Miley Cyrus.

There were plenty of luminaries at the event. Skier Vonn, 32, looked pretty in her outfit.

The athlete put her enviable curves on display as she wore the tight white number that had a mock turtleneck and flared slacks.

Her blonde locks were worn down and she had her makeup expertly done with pink lips and heavy kohl liner.

The star stuck close to Kate and also took photos with Amazon VP Dan Jedda, Gael Garcia Bernal, Lucy Walker, and Molly Shannon.

In October Vonn talked about confidence in LA.

She told Today's Matt Lauer: 'I'm really confident on the mountain, but I haven't really felt like I fit in so much on the red carpets. I'm just not your typical body type, so I have insecurities. I'm very self-conscious.'

She added: 'I think I'm strong when it comes to working out, and everything I do on the mountain I feel confident in myself, but a lot of times I really don't feel that confident.

'I have my insecurities like everyone else, and being on the mountain is the only time I feel 100 percent sure of myself.'
