Jay Mancuso and new wife Catriona (pictured) went to Bali to get married and on their flight home to Adelaide had exceptional customer service on board a Jetstar flight - so they decided to say thanks. Mr Mancuso dressed up his thanks like one of the many complaints the airline receives via it's Facebook page - but instead ended up praising the flight host's exemplary work (inset left). He even got a response from the airline (inset right) - who offered him a partial refund.

The 50-year-old mother-of-five allegedly allowed her property to be a safe house for members of the notorious gang who would store their loot at her home after often violent and terrifying crime sprees before selling them on. But when she was asked outside the Dandenong Magistrates's Court if she had contact with members, she denied any involvement and said the judge and police hate her.

A mum has taken to Facebook to remind the world there is such a thing as Christmas cheer, after a stranger bought her son a Wiggles doll when they were heading home from the hospital. Lucy Little (centre right) had just spent five hours at Westmead Children's Hospital with 11-year-old son Daniel (left) when she went to the shopping centre to pick up some things. Daniel asked for a doll of Emma Wiggle (inset), but Ms Little said he would have to wait until Christmas. Then, a kind stranger approached the family, gifting Daniel with the toy.

Karl Stefanovic starred in a promotional photograph (left) for the pizza joint run by the fiance of food blogger Sofia Levin. Ms Levin, 27 (pictured on right with her fiance Matt John) has spent time with Stefanovic, 42, in the days since he announced his marriage split. Just weeks ago the Today Show host was seen happily gulping down a slice of pizza at Mr John's inner Sydney restaurant Epic Pizza. The parlour hailed the TV star as 'King Karl' on Instagram and described Stefanovic's encounter with the Italian meal as 'love at first slice'. Ms Levin denies any romance with the TV star, saying the pair are only friends.

Seattle-based fitness model Cheyann Clark has shown the devastating effects of ovarian cancer in a brave series of photos. Before her diagnosis, Mrs Clark was an avid weightlifter who competed in national bikini body competitions (left). Now, the disease has stripped away the hair and the muscles she worked so hard to build (middle) and has left her with a temporary colostomy bag (right). 'Cancer has taken everything from me,' the 23-year-old said.

Greig Tonkins (pictured) who heroically punched a kangaroo to save his pet dog is a zookeeper and 'family man' who was out on a special hunt with a dying friend when the incident occurred. Mr Tonkins found himself at the centre of a viral video on the weekend after footage of him fighting a marsupial to save his beloved dog 'Max' became popular online. The 34-year-old, who works at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, New South Wales, was out hunting wild pigs with a group of friends when his dog was attacked by the roo. He attracted international attention when Daily Mail Australia first published the video of him saving 'Max' on the hunt in southern NSW in mid-June.

A mother has been left outraged after her teenage son (pictured) was sent home from a private high school because his hair was 'too short'. The year 10 student at Corpus Christi College (inset) in the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, was forced home from school just days after getting a new haircut. The boy returned to school the next day but was forced to wear a hat, much to the anger of his mother who attacked the school on Perth radio on Monday.

Two men have been filmed launching into an epic argument inside a Woolworth's store in Logan, Queensland, after one accused the other of standing too close to them while shopping. While it is not known what the fight is about, the two men seem to have mutual friends, suggesting this fight is an extension of an earlier row. The pair may have drawn a lot of attention with their arguing, but no punches are thrown before one man walks away.

A pregnant woman was shot dead while on stage when she refused to dance with a stranger during a wedding in India. Kulvinder Kaur, (inset), was shot with a 12-bore double barrel shotgun as she was performing with her dance troupe at the wedding in the Punjab. A video of the incident, taken on a mobile phone, shows the long barrel of the gun being produced (circled, left) as Kulvinder dances in a white dress. The gun was pointed at her and she suddenly collapsed, sparking panic (right). Superintendent Swapan Sharma said: 'Raids are being conducted to find the shooter and the close family members are being interrogated.'

Fitness guru and mother-of-two from Queensland, Tammy Hembrow (pictured left and right), revealed why she didn't get any stretchmarks while pregnant (inset) in a recent YouTube video. Ms Hembrow credited a daily application of rosehip oil to her tummy, eating clean and drinking plenty of water to help with the skin's elasticity. She said she did, however, suffer from cellulite on her legs.

NEW South Korean officials already know about four tunnels under the border between the two countries - but they fear there could be as many as 16 more. It raises fears Pyongyang is plotting to invade the south and comes just two months after the secretive nation carried out nuclear bomb tests. South Korean authorities are still believed to be searching for tunnels under the demilitarised zone between the two countries. But the last one to be discovered was in 1990. The first was found a mile into South Korean territory in November 1974. An American officer and South Korean soldier were killed while investigating the tunnel when a bomb went off. An 18-year-old woman (inset) has taken the Internet by storm after sharing the hilarious exchange between herself and her noisy neighbours. The woman, who goes by Morgxmarie on Twitter, penned a scathing note (left) to her upstairs neighbours who were thumping around late at night. She also sarcastically requested tickets to their '2am basketball game.' But the raucous neighbours hit back with their own letter (right) and attached mockup tickets inviting her to the 'a**hole basketball championship.' 'It's game time,' they wrote. 'That was just a practice last night.'

The Sydney Swans AFL squad were left gasping for breath when they returned to training on Monday. They were welcomed back with a 3km time trial run around Centennial Parklands in the city. Stars Kirk Tippett (main) and Issac Heeney (bottom right) were put through their paces during a gruelling session in roasting temperatures. The whole squad (top right) were pushed to the limit on their first day back, and they'll hope their efforts will have them in prime condition for the 2017 season.

Hannah Butler (inset), 24, captured what appears to be a dark-haired girl dressed in white huddled by a tree (circled) during a ghost walk in Hessle, East Yorkshire. But she admitted she was still fearful of the girl, who regularly appears in her thoughts and dreams, despite now living 200 miles away in Maidstone, Kent. The mother, who is looking for work, said she still feels guilty for running away from the ghost girl in 2013 and believes she may have wanted to be her friend. Miss Butler, who is mother to 15-month-old daughter Emma, said: 'Our guide showed us this tree, and told us that some people had seen the ghost of a little orphan girl there who is looking out to sea waiting for her daddy. I just snapped away at the tree, I must have taken about ten photos. Then I saw it. I thought I had just imagined her. It wasn't on any of the other photos. Then I started freaking out. I was so shocked.'

Tens of thousands of New Zealanders have welcomed summer with parties fuelled by crates of beer. The annual 'Crate Day' is held on the first Saturday of December to embrace the arrival of warm weather by sharing a crate of beer with family and friends. The meet the rules of the unofficial holiday, revellers must abide by the event's 10 commandments, which 'thou shall wear thy stubbies and thy singlet', 'thou shall respect thy neighbour' and 'thou shall look out for thy mates'.

The Kennedy Center Honors were awarded to Al Pacino, Mavis Staples, James Taylor, Martha Argerich, and the Eagles band members Joe Walsh, Don Henley and Timothy Schmit. The award is considered one of the country's most prestigious honors for performing artists. Stephen Colbert hosted the star-studded gala in Washington DC on Saturday. Obama gave a short speech before the event, telling the crowd how the arts both 'help us celebrate our triumphs, but also hold up a mirror to our flaws'.

Noel Wilson (inset with his wife Karen) spent 24 years racing in rallying and karting before quitting the hobby when he was diagnosed with the condition three years ago. But the 58-year-old was determined not to give up his life on the race track. Despite a top speed of just 11 miles per hour, Mr Wilson is now touring famous race tracks to set new official lap times on his scooter (left and right). After deciding to take on the challenge, Mr Wilson's friends helped him decorate the scooter and install a better motor to make him faster. He is also raising money for the MS Society in the process. Among the tracks on which he has completed are Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington Park.

New mother Pamela Sinclair, 33, from Glasgow, was placed in a coma as doctors battled to treat large ulcers that appeared on her body following the birth of her daughter, Mirren, left together in hospital. Husband Derek, 36, told their nine-year-old son Damian (inset as a family), that his mother might not come home as family members rushed to hospital to say their goodbyes. But Mrs Sinclair survived and is now at home recovering after 10 weeks in hospital, right with Mirren.

As he took in one of the world's most spectacular sights, he may have wished someone special was there to share the view. But Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle, was thousands of miles away and instead of enjoying breathtaking scenery, had to make do with more simple entertainment. While her boyfriend was teetering on the edge of Guyana's Kaieteur Falls, which are 820ft high, Miss Markle, 35, was playing dress up with her dog and picking fresh bouquets of flowers (right). And just in case Harry, 32, had forgotten her, the American actress chose a Union Jack themed coat for her pet Guy (inset).

And fresh from parading their lithe limbs on the Victoria's Secret catwalk, sisters Gigi Hadid, 21, and her youngster sister Bella, 20, are now set to vye for the title of International Model of the Year 2016. The American It models of the moment will battle it out at tomorrow's British Fashion Awards. Having amassed a fortune of some £14million between them, the sisters have a social media following of millions, and an A-list social circle with friends including Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift (right), and Hailey Baldwin and Cara Delevingne (left). Medical experts are trialling virtual reality headsets in hospital in an attempt to combat loneliness at Christmas. The 'pioneering' experiment will see patients try on devices that will show them animated videos that are hoped will soothe them and help them relax. The clip, which you can watch below, shows a group of people sitting around a campfire reading stories to one another as a sleepy dog patiently watches them. Doctors believe watching the life-like video could cut loneliness among patients on hospital wards during the festive season and one unwell person who has used the virtual reality headset has even reported a reduction in pain. The 'Joy' virtual reality devices are being trialled in Brunswick Private Hospital in Melbourne, Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney, St Andrew's Hospital in Adelaide and Mater Hospital in Brisbane.

Two endangered Siberian tigers fight for the affection of a female tiger in these dramatic images. Photographer Ingo Gerlach was lucky enough to witness this brutal cat fight at Orsa-Björn Wildlife Park in central Sweden. While running a photo tour in the woods, which house kodiak brown bears, polar bears, european wolves and Siberian tigers, Ingo spotted these two tigers sloping out of the woods.

Dog owners have been sharing pictures of their pets causing mischief, from getting tangled up in the fairy lights to chewing the decorations and leaving 'presents' on the carpet. Horrifying footage has emerged from Argentina showing a child coming with inches of death after her mother helped her down onto the tracks to avoid paying, but failed to spot a train coming the other way. CCTV shows other commuters queuing up to buy their tickets at a station in Buenos Aires, but the negligent parent ushers her daughter onto the railroad. She goes to climb down herself in order to dodge the fare, but suddenly spots the train pulling into the station. She scrambles back up but there is no time for her daughter to follow.

The woman, who looks rather happy considering the weather, can be seen talking to the camera during extremely windy conditions in Sochi. She shouts out as a big wave approaches, before being taken out as the water sweeps over her. The woman, who is left completely drenched, manages to cling on to the camera as she gets up from the water.
