iOS 12.1.4

Stopped crashing first time after relic was removed. Can’t test it again for obvious reasons.

Thank you, I'll have to see why that's happening! Thanks for the update. The game doesn't crash when using the relic on other enemies right?

Hasn’t crashed the game against any other enemy so far.

Just played "a bit" ... and I'm at the Alpha Wulf Boss fight... and I died 2 times and I have no Idea how to do this properly. Well, this one guy tells me that he's about to attack and I should DEF, but I haven't figured out how, yet.

But all in all a nice indie game.

Some things that I've noticed:

  • If you talk to one NPC with Battle Encounter (I don't know how to call it haha :D) manually (without running in front of him to trigger the fight), he says the same text but it doesn't trigger the fight (as it would in Pokemon... :P)

  • I guess you can't do much about this but it's kind of "Unintuitive" that I can't run to the cliff if I'm somewhere "higher", because the whole tile is set as "unmovable" or whatever.

All in all it plays really fluent and the controls are quite intuitive aswell. It's sometimes "weird" to explicitly tap on the other direction instead of "continue tapping and switch the direction", because sometimes it doesn't work that properly...

Really good and it was already worth the 2 bucks :D!

I'm so glad you like it! Garrett has a protect spell you should use for the boss fight! Thank you so much for trying out the game and thank you for the feedback!

Hello, I am releasing my RPG "Pixelot" tomorrow, which I have been working on for over 3 years now! I would really like people to check it out and be able to watch videos of people playing it! The game costs $1.99 but I am of course completely willing to send you guys a promo code. I really appreciate all the hard work that the Lets Play community puts in to their videos and all of the support that they give to the developers. Please let me know if you are interested!

For a little background, here's a link to the Trailer! and here's a quick blurb about the game:

Pixelot is a classic RPG that hopes to combine the best parts of classic role-playing games. In Pixelot you will create a custom hero and gather allies to defend against the darkness that has swept over the land of Pixelot. The game will feature numerous recruitable characters, playable classes, items, monsters, and dungeons alike. Promising an engaging story line, laughable dialogue, and a classic yet simple design, Pixelot hopes to be a game that is easy to pick up and hard to put down.

Thank you so much for reading!

It's a turn based game similar to final fantasy where you select your attacks at the bottom and then pick your targets on the screen!

Sounds interesting, I haven't picked up something that lets me do voices in a while.

Hey reddit, I'm Kyle and this is my game Pixelot!

Download for PC - https://iceberger3.itch.io/pixelot

About the Game

Pixelot is a classic RPG for Desktop, Android, and iOS, that hopes to combine the best parts of classic role-playing games. There are around 20 different classes you can play as, and hundreds of items and monsters to fight. The game has 3 major dungeons released and I plan to release many more! There's also an infinite dungeon at the end!

How I made the game

I have been working on Pixelot for the last 3 years at night when my wife falls asleep, and basically whenever I have any free time. Growing up playing games like pokemon and final fantasy it was always my dream to make my own game. I have put a lot of heart, humor, and basically everything I have into designing this game and while I know it is far from perfect, I really hope you guys enjoy it! I developed the game in Java, and it is a cross platform app for desktop, android and ios! The game art is exclusively pixel art to give it that retro feel!

I really hope you guys love this game as much as I do and beyond everything I am excited for you to try it and hear your feedback!
