Tupac Shakur collaborator Big Syke is found dead inside his California home at the age of 48

Rapper Big Syke was found dead inside his Hawthorne, California, home on Monday night.

The musician, who was born Tyruss Himes, was 48-years-old.

The artist was best known for working with the late singer Tupac Shakur on such hits as All Eyez on Me, Picture Me Rollin and Check Out Time.

The two met in 1992 and Tupac made him a member of his Thug Life group. Shakur died at the age of 25 in 1996 after a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. 

TMZ broke the news on Tuesday of Big Syke's death.

Law enforcement sources told the site police were called to the home.

No crime: It was reported that no foul play was suspected as it is believed he died from natural causes, a source told TMZ. He had a history of heart issues and obesity

Syke's last post on Instagram was from Sunday when he uploaded a clip from a film. Hid caption read, 'A scene from a movie I'm in with the homie Honk. . Directed by Baby G! Stay tuned!'

That same day he shared the cover of OTH magazine with his image on it.

And last week he shared the message, 'Once you already know wassup be smart and platy dumb.'
