'Don't touch me, p*** off': Boy George pushes female photographer during altercation at Sydney airport... and threatens to 'break the camera'

He's the Eighties pop star known for his bright costumes and colourful makeup.

But Boy George's mood wasn't so cheerful when he came across a female photographer who insisted on snapping photos of him as he arrived at Sydney airport.

Keeping a low profile in an all-black ensemble and sunglasses, the 55-year-old was seen shoving the woman's camera away with his hand as he made his way out of the gate.

'P*** off,' the Karma Chameleon hitmaker said while being filmed.

The woman was heard arguing: 'Don't touch my camera. You p*** off.'

'Don't touch me,' the British star responded, adding, 'I'll break that camera if you [don't] go away.'

The singer, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, backtracked and began walking back towards the gate to find part of his entourage.

Pointing at the woman, the eccentric star told his minder: 'Get rid of her.'

Not backing down, the woman could be heard saying: 'We're in a public place. I know my rights,' while the camera kept rolling.

They continued walking for several metres, with the star visibly agitated.

In one last attempt to shake the persistent fan, the Culture Club singer lashed out once again and tried to snatch the camera.

'I will break it. I will f***ing break it,' he said, ignoring the woman's threat to call the police.

The singer was almost unrecognisable without his trademark dramatic makeup and loud costumes.

The British singer reunited with his band Culture Club for the first show of their Australian tour back in June.

Performing their first show in 15 years in Adelaide, they delighted fans with classic hits such as Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chameleon and Miss Me Blind.

And the group - which also consists of original bandmembers Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss - are set to perform more shows in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia this month.
