Where this camper is going, he doesn't need tent pegs.

The incredible moment a daredevil was suspended 400 feet above a canyon has been captured in a series of hair-raising images.

Photographer Brian Mosbaugh took the astonishing images of friends Logan Mitchell, 24, and Josh Beaudoin, 34, as they swung around at the picturesque location in Moab, Utah.

Josh, who lowered Logan above the canyon, said: 'I came up with the idea of swinging the tree pod from a canyon by a rope swing and Logan wanted to take part.

'I was nervous because the height was terrifying as we suspended the tree pod on a highline, 400 feet above the canyon. Logan said it was the most unique, epic experience that he has ever had. The first four seconds felt like a car crash until the pendulum happened, and from there it was smooth swinging.

'Once the pod stopped swinging, 20 people offered to help pull him to the top. I definitely wouldn't recommend a stunt like this to anyone but professionals, but it was amazing to do something that had never been done before.'
