Spoiler: She said she wasn't mad at her Dancing With The Stars co-star Maksim Chmerkovskiy who appeared to confirm the news three days ago when he said she 'maybe just got engaged'

Her former pro partner's 'spoiler' was in revenge for earlier in the year when Andrews spilled his fiancée Peta Murgatroyd’s pregnancy news while mic’d up backstage.

To be fair to her former DWTS pro-partner, the sports broadcaster had strongly hinted at it on social media.

She sent her timeline in a frenzy Thursday when she tweeted before a trip to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that the bad weather would really put a damper on her 'ring game'.

Dozens of people thought this was a thinly-veiled allusion to her potential engagement to the NHL star, her boyfriend of four years. Among them was Emma Slater, a professional dancer on 'Dancing With The Stars', who asked Andrews:  'What?!!!! Would you happen to be engaged @ErinAndrews??!!!! I'm hearing people on Twitter!!!'

Andrews replied only with four hearts and two kissing emoji - an enigmatic answer that kept everyone guessing.

She also sent a kissing emoji to someone who tweeted: 'I love how @ErinAndrews is kinda hinting at her engagement and it goes over everyone's heads! So happy for her!!'

Long run: She has been dating the 34-year-old hockey player for four years

Andrews and Stoll, 34, have been dating for four years. The pair weathered the storm last year when Stoll was arrested at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and charged with cocaine possession.

The charges were later changed to two misdemeanors and Stoll took a plea deal, and agreed to create a hockey program for children at risk as part of his community service.

'I have no idea what tomorrow will bring,' Andrews told US Magazine a few months later, as she reflected on her relationship with Stoll. 'We're brought up thinking our lives are going to be a Taylor Swift song. Then you get older and wiser. You don't know what is going to bring you happiness.'

Earlier this year Andrews finally settled her lawsuit against the owners of Marriott Hotels eight years after a stalker filmed her changing clothes through the peephole in her hotel door.

She had been awarded $55million in damages to be split between stalker Michael Barrett and hotel owners West End Hotel Partners and Windsor Capital Group, after suing for $75million.

But Andrews' lawyer Randall Kinnard launched a fresh legal bid to recoup all of the money from the hotel chain after Barrett's father revealed he is penniless and living in his basement.

In April they reached a settlement for an undisclosed sum.

Stoll meanwhile, who Stanley Cup twice with Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and 2014, is currently a free agent.
