US TV host and comedian Jimmy Fallon asked people to recount their most embarrassing work do anecdotes on Twitter using the hashtag #officepartyfails - and the entries range from the humiliating to the hilarious.
From being drunkenly sent home in a cab to showing up in the same outfit as the waiters - or worst of all, not being invited, these are some of the best office party fails Twitter has to offer.

Jordan took to social media to share the tale that included two of his co-workers being caught 'making out' under his desk at work.
To make matters worse, when they were caught, one of them threw up.
Barnee recounted the time when a lady got so drunk at an office party that the boss said to get her out.
They put her in a taxi, only for her to get out at the next street and come back.
Then there's the boss who ordered two pizzas for 15 employees - and then ate one by herself.
Mark tweeted saying that he laughed at his girlfriend for sitting on her plate of food. In the end, he felt bad so went to get her some napkins, only to then sit down on his plate

Glenn took to Twitter to say that he made an outfit blunder when he turned up wearing a red shirt and black tie to the Christmas meal - only to find the wait staff wearing the same thing.
Someone even gave him their drink order.
Mark had his comeuppance when he laughed at his girlfriend for sitting on her plate of food.
He felt bad afterwards so went to get her some napkins and ended sitting back down on his own plate full of food.

One boss decided to play a a trick on their workers and poured apple juice in the wine bottles to be able to watch people pretend to be drunk.

A boss failed big time when they decided to dance on the desk and later do a trust fall - hoping their employees would be there to catch them.
As it turns out, nobody caught him.
