GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Naomi and a very sticky situation... Supermodel's wig sticks out a mile thanks to pink plaster

As many fashionistas will tell you, accessories can make or break an outfit. It’s a lesson that Naomi Campbell and Princess Eugenie learned the hard way last week, when their slick media images were sabotaged by unruly outfit add-ons.

First came Naomi who I spotted at the Chiltern Firehouse on Monday. She was wearing a wig which would have been convincing – if only she hadn’t used a pink plaster to hold it down. ‘She thought it matched her skin tone, but clearly it didn’t,’ her camp told me.

Then Eugenie wore a ring on her engagement finger, sparking much speculation. Her PR man told me: ‘She was wearing several rings and a few fell off. She put them back on and in her haste she put one on her engagement finger.’ Nightmare!

Eugenie has even taken off two rings she has worn on her middle and forefinger for years, to save confusion. For as she told me last month: ‘I am NOT engaged!’

Watch out Katherine Jenkins – the Royal Family has a new operatic favourite. Sultry Irish soprano Margaret Keys has performed for both Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cambridge during the past month – gigs that I would usually expect Katherine to take on.

And, intriguingly, it seems that Margaret, a former primary school teacher, may be singing for the Royals several more times next year.

‘There will be more high-profile Royal events for me in 2017, but I’m sworn to secrecy – and if I told you which ones I’d have to kill myself!’

Surely she doesn’t mean a wedding or two, does she?

Bond Girl Naomie Harris has let slip a 007 secret – a plot to get Daniel Craig to make one more film.

Naomie says Bond producer Barbara Broccoli is taking advantage of her time working with Craig in a Broadway production of Othello by badgering him to retain his licence to kill.

‘I think she’ll be whispering in his ear about staying on,’ says Naomie, 40, who has played Miss Moneypenny in Spectre and Skyfall. ‘I hope it works.’

Tom Hiddleston’s dream of playing the suave spy looks to be slipping further and further away…

When I received a call last week from one of my spies telling me they had ‘just seen Kate Moss scoffing kebabs on Brick Lane’ I laughed off the idea. After all, as Kate herself once said, ‘nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’.

But then I decided to do a bit of digging and, as my picture shows, the supermodel was indeed scoffing fast food out of a van. Alas it wasn’t a kebab.

Kate, 42, was helping her younger brother Nick sell Vietnamese street food from a stall he operates in East London

Instead Kate, 42, was helping her younger brother Nick sell Vietnamese street food from a stall he operates in East London – a venture he has cleverly named Vietvan.

Kate was being a good egg by supporting Nick – even if she decided to go incognito by wearing shades in December.
