Six days before she actually turns 36, Christina Aguilera has already begun to celebrate, throwing a celebrity-strewn dance party.

Flush with purple lighting, the Saturday night festivities saw guest Kylie Jenner grabbing the singer for brief kiss on the mouth.

The 19-year-old was in once again wearing Aguilera's Dirrty music video look, only this time she picked the yellow and black version that the pop star wore 14 years earlier for TRL Presents: Christina Aguilera Stripped In NYC 2002 At Brooklyn Bridge.

A kiss to remember: The pair also shared a kiss - and the moment was captured on camera

The top of that outfit consisted solely of a barely-there bra streaked with black and yellow vertical stripes.

Black and yellow striped leather pants framed Kylie's toned midriff and featured tears at the sides up near the derrière.

Her wrist warmers were striped in the same colours, and she'd got on the same alternately black and blonde hairdo Aguilera sported when she'd worn the outfit.

The kiss video went up on Snapchat, as well as on Instagram. Kylie, who'd also dressed as the Burlesque star in her Dirrty video this Halloween, captioned: 'Happy Birthday @xtina !!!!!!' with a trio of puckered lips emojis.

Meanwhile, on Saturday night, the mother of two was dressed to outdo all her guests in the extravagance department.

A massive bubblegum pink fright wig was sat on her head, complementing sunglasses with sparkling rainbow rims.

Her faux fur coat featured splashes of pink, green, blue and purple, as well as a bit of yellow and black to mesh with Kylie's outfit.

Beneath the coat was a pair of black trousers, as well as a black top that offered up a generous view of her bulging cleavage.

Another of the guests was Bethenny Frankel, who'd pulled on a seemingly skintight dark red dress that appeared to be made of latex.

The sloping neckline showed off a good deal of her bust and stopped below it, and her hem was cut off squarely at the knee.

Simply elegant gold stilettos complemented the lighter multicoloured clutch she held against her dress for the evening.

Frankel's Snapchat started off with a clear photo of her in what appeared to be a well-lit foyer that allowed her to showcase her outfit.

Her Snapchat Story quickly swung her headlong into the party, where she spent some time lounging on a white fuzzy cushion.

She held up a colossal candy floss - whether it was real or false wasn't quite clear - and leaned against a stuffed tiger.

The SkinnyGirl impresaria sipped her drink out of a curling purple straw that contorted itself to spell 'xtina.'

When the 46-year-old erstwhile Real Housewife Of New York posted an image of the straw to Snapchat, she scrawled some red text on the screen spelling 'xtina,' as if the point hadn't already been quite clear enough.

Social media also allowed her to indicate her networking skills as she flitted among her fellow famous faces at the knees-up.

An image of Kylie was captioned in large white letters: 'Omg' and saw the sister of Kendall Jenner working on her phone.

She also did a selfie post with the Beautiful singer herself, and another post in which Aguilera was stood on the dance floor, throwing up peace signs.
