Jose Mourinho looks thoroughly fed up as he treats daughter Matilde, 19, to a shopping spree... and he's even dragged to Victoria's Secret

His team has been flagging in the trophy chase this season to date.

Heading out into central London on Tuesday afternoon with 19-year-old Matilde - named after her mother - the special one, 53, looked thoroughly fed up.

Down in the dumps? It seems that not even some quality time with his daughter could cheer Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho up

Laden with shopping bags from a number of high-end designer stores, it looked like Jose had swapped the rough and tumble of the Premiere League for something much more painful.

As Matilde happily glided about London with a bounce in her step, hopping from one store to the next, the Portuguese manager looked decidedly less happy.

Possibly thinking of the number of games his team has drawn over the festive period, the manager sat with an ashen look on his face as his daughter perused the shelves of Hermes.

Trying on a pair of boots, Matilde was obviously on the look-out for some trendy new clobber - though she didn't look to be getting any help or advice from her father.

Surrounded by luxury footwear and handbags, the ever-stylish manager - a regular in the pages of GQ - looked slightly fed up, and wore a frown on his handsome features.

Oblivious to her father's apparent lack of enthusiasm for shopping, Matilde typed away on her iPhone.

Follow me, pops! After a quick decision on where to go next, the well-heeled teen made a beeline for the exit

Follow me! Leading the way down the street as Jose followed with the bags it was clear to see that the famously controlling coach was happy to let his daughter lead

On the hit-list: Other stores on the teen's hit-list appeared to include Victoria's Secret and Russel & Bromley

Let it end? The Manchester United boss didn't look all that pleased as he stepped out onto the street

Onto the next! The duo strode off down the street, with Matilde leading the way - presumably to the next store
