This summer has seen more A-listers than ever descend on the White Isle, with everyone from Hollywood heavyweights to the TOWIE crowd jetting off for a hedonistic holiday of fun and frolics in the Spanish sunshine.

And while there is certainly a multitude of achingly cool restaurants, bars and beach clubs to cater to every taste, can you really get a true VIP experience with just one night on the island?

We headed off to Ibiza for 24 hours to find out...

To infinity and beyond: Ibiza's hip new OD Talamanca hotel opened this summer and is located just six miles away from the island's airport

After catching an early morning British Airways flight from London to Ibiza, we arrived at the hip new OD Talamanca hotel, which opened this summer and is located just six miles from the airport.

Taking in the property's spectacular views of the Old Town and the beautiful Talamanca Bay, we gazed at the super-yachts arriving into the harbour as we enjoyed a brief moment of calm before our jam-packed day on the island began.

As well as boasting two swimming pools, a chic bar and incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea, the hotel's impeccably-designed 117 rooms - created thanks to a collaboration between the architectural studio of Victor Rahola and interior designer Mayte Matutes - provided the perfect relaxing crash pad for our brief visit.

Being within easy reach of fabulous beaches, some of the island's hottest nightspots and the picturesque Old Town, the contemportary OD Talamanca exuded grown-up glamour and was a handily located base for our day ahead.

After we checked into our rooms, a private driver came to pick us up and transported us to day-party hotspot Ocean Beach Ibiza.

Poppin' bottles! Ocean Beach Ibiza is one of the island's most celebrity-packed haunts, with the likes of (left to right) TOWIE stars Danielle Armstrong and Kate Wright, actress Michelle Keegan and TV presenter Mark Wright counted among its fans

Situated in San Antonio, Ocean Beach is one of the island's most celebrity-packed daytime haunts, with everyone from Ed Sheeran to Abbey Clancy and Michelle Keegan having enjoyed a day of champagne bottle-popping at the glitzy venue.

While you'd be forgiven for thinking the day club is simply a posers' paradise and a place the TOWIE gang go to snap sun-soaked social media selfies, I was pleasantly surprised to see it offered much more.

We were treated to a delicious lunch, including an incredible sushi platter, a creamy burrata salad, juicy burgers and a sumptuous selection of desserts, all washed down with rosé wine and Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

After enjoying our lunch, we headed off for a spot of people-watching and a boogie in the DJ booth, before travelling back to the hotel for a brief siesta.

Making the most of the relaxed vibe back at OD Talamanca, we had a few drinks by the pool before freshening up for the night's festivities.

Making a splash: OD Talamanca boasts two swimming pools, which are perfect for a spot of post-partying rest and relaxation

And relax: The hotel's 117 impeccably designed rooms were created thanks to a collaboration between the architectural studio of Victor Rahola and interior designer Mayte Matutes

Luxury: OD Talamanca boasts incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea and some of the hotel's top-grade rooms even come with private rooftop swimming pools

Ensuring we kicked off our one night on the White Isle in style, we were picked up by our driver and taken to the stylish STK Ibiza at Ibiza Corso Hotel and Spa, Marina Botafoch.

With STK outposts already in London, New York, Miami and Los Angeles to name but a few, STK Ibiza is a relative newcomer on the island's dining scene, having opened earlier this summer.

In spite of it still being early days for the achingly cool eatery, it has already hosted the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Eva Longoria, Alesha Dixon, Paris Hilton and Laura Whitmore - as well as numerous reality stars - since it opened its doors in July.

Exuding a sleek nightclub vibe, the high-end steakhouse offers not only a delicious menu, but also high-energy entertainment and performances, comprising a titillating mix of dance, music, acrobatics and theatre.

After kicking things off with a selection of cocktails from the extensive menu, our group was treated to an incredible three-course menu.

Starters came in the form of soft shell crab sliders and the equally delicious mini Wagyu beef burgers with truffle sauce, as well as tuna tartare, buckwheat salad and crab goujons.

Then came the steak.

We sampled some of the nine different cuts of meat on offer, served with sumptuous sides, including lobster mac and cheese, parmesan truffle, thick-cut chips and an heirloom tomato salad.

After demolishing a selection of incredible desserts, including a deconstructed Eton mess, macarons, mini doughnuts and an exquisite créme brulee, we moved on to espresso martinis to finish off our meal.

In spite of its name, STK also offers plenty of non-meat options, including a raw bar section of the menu featuring a good choice of seafood dishes and a selection of vegetarian choices.

Being the perfect place for people-watching thanks to its hip crowd, we then moved over to the bar, where the DJ had everyone up dancing - providing the perfect warm-up before we headed down the road to the legendary Pacha nightclub.

After partying until the early hours to the tunes of DJ Danny Howard, we called it a night and headed back to OD Talamanca for a blissful few hours of sleep, before hot-footing it back to the airport for a 10am flight home to London.
