Guests were put up in glamorous tents around the venue and the couple, as well as some friends and family were transported to the venue in a converted school bus with the words 'Almost Married' written on the back.

It seems they had a little trouble with the motor however as a guest shared a snap of people trying to push the bus.

Instead of gifts Patrick and Troian encouraged guests to donate to the David Suzuki Foundation and SickKids Hospital.
