This is Floyd's second DUI arrest while on the national football spotlight.

He was suspended indefinitely from Notre Dame in March 2011 when he was arrested while driving drunk.

Back then, he was driving at nearly twice the legal limit.

He was also cited for underage drinking in 2010.

'The incident that happened this morning with Michael Floyd, [we're] gathering as much information as I can right now on what happened and what our options are going forward,' Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians told Arizona Sports.

'I will probably have more information on that by Wednesday. Right now, it's way too soon to know what actually happened and what can be done.'

Floyd returned from Miami after a Sunday match against the Dolphins, which his team lost 26-23. He had two catches for 18 yards.

Floyd becomes a free agent at the end of the 2016 season.

His latest arrest could impact his chances of being signed next year.

Floyd was a first-round pick, taken 13th overall in 2012. So far this season, he has caught four touchdowns, as well as d33 passes for 446 yards.
