Blazing saddles: Rocco Ritchie 'gets a job as a Deliveroo biker' as he moves on from drugs arrest scandal

He's been enjoying the care-free existence of a well-to-do teen in London.

But it seems that Rocco Ritchie is keen to keep himself out of trouble following his brush with the law in September, and has bagged himself a job.

According to The Sun on Sunday, the 16-year-old son of film director Guy and Madonna has started delivering take-away meals on bicycle for Deliveroo.

Deliver-who? it seems that Rocco Ritchie is keen to keep himself out of trouble following his brush with the law in September, and has bagged himself a job

The teen, who now lives in London with his father, has been earning some extra money thanks to the takeaway App whilst pleasing his parent by showing commitment.

A source told the paper: 'It’s been a bit of a laugh for him and a way to placate his mum and dad until he works out what he wants to do.

They both agree a bit of discipline and a schedule would do him good, whether that comes from voluntary work or something low paid.'

The source also hinted at another possible job role for Rocco, adding: 'He has been looking into working in a local gardening centre.'

MailOnline has contacted a representative of the Ritchie family for comment.

The news comes after Rocco put a tumultuous month behind him, which saw his arrest for suspicion of possessing cannabis.

After the matter hit headline last month, Rocco had been keeping a low-profile, but last week he broke cover to meet up with pals and his rumoured girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, 16.

Wrapping up for their date, Rocco displayed his typically eclectic fashion sense as he sported a camouflage pair of loose-fitting pants with a navy and blue jacket around his frame.

Working an all black look, Kim - who is the daughter of painter and printmaker William Turnbull -  cut the December chill in a bomber jacket and capri pants.

Meanwhile, Rocco's family has been rocked by the news that he was caught in possession of cannabis when the neighbours reportedly called police, back in September.

The sighting follows Rocco's arrest on suspicion of cannabis possession last month.

Although the mother and son relationship has been fraught of late, with Rocco claiming he would rather live with film director father Guy Ritchie in London, the pair had seemingly reconnected.

Madonna has said publicly that she is supporting the teenager, releasing a statement in November, calling Rocco's legal troubles 'a family matter'.

'I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time,' she said.

A police spokesperson also confirmed the news saying: 'A 16-year-old youth has been arrested for possession of cannabis.

'The arrest follows a stop and search by officers from Camden borough at around 5.15pm on Wednesday, September 28 at Steeles Mews North.

'The youth was taken to a north London police station. He was subsequently bailed and dealt with by Camden borough's Youth Offending Team.

'He was dealt with by way of Triage, which uses multiple strands to engage and educate young people in order to prevent re-offending.'

The youth was caught after neighbours reportedly saw him 'smoking or doing drugs' and called the police.

Rocco was searched by cops after he was seen sitting on a wall with a friend in Primrose Hill, where properties sell for around £1.9m.

An arrest could potentially cause problems when visiting the US because British citizens are no longer eligible for automatic entry and must apply for a visa.

However, it is highly likely that Rocco has dual nationality and is a citizen of the UK - where his father is from - and his mother's native United States.

US citizens would never be denied entry and even if he holds only a British passport, it is likely that his visa application would be accepted because the crime is so minor.
