'I'm in trouble': Studio 10 host Sarah Harris makes a mess of her toddler son Paul's hair after cutting him a 'jagged fringe' with nail scissors

She has never been afraid to poke fun at her personal life with self-depracating Instagram updates. 

And comedic Studio 10 host Sarah Harris, 35, was at it again this week when she uploaded a picture of her dismal attempts at cutting her son Paul's hair.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the mother-of-one shared a picture of her 11-month-old tot being held up in her arms, with the caption: 'I cut Paul's hair. With nail scissors. Note the jagged fringe. I'm in trouble'.

The hilarious caption prompted Sam's loyal fans to regale their own hairdressing horror stories, with one commenting: 'My mum did the same when I was little and cut off all my curls. My dad didn't speak to her for weeks apparently.'

'My mother-in-law decided she would cut my sons hair when he was little & cut all his curls off, she never done that again,' added another. 

It comes after Sarah shared a cute video of Paul climbing up the inside of his crib to see his mother.

The toddler, clearly excited to see his mother, stood up in his cot to greet her before taking a tumble back onto his bed.

Sarah opened the door to his room while the caption 'my favourite time of the day!!!' appeared on screen.

She then approached the cot to find the toddler sitting up in his bed before he stood up as she approached.

After asking her son if he had a nice sleep, the 35-year-old was met by the bright-eyed youngster as he stood upright, clutching a blanket in his hand.

In an adorable moment, Paul lost his balance and fell onto his mattress before quickly getting to his feet once again.

Sarah has been a mother since December last year when she and husband Tom Ward welcomed Paul into the world.

Ever the professional, the journalist returned to hosting the Channel Ten panel show after just four months of maternity leave. 

However, Sarah will be enjoying some well-earned time off over the summer with The Bachelorette star Georgia Love filling in for her.
