'I may have had a glass of wine or two': Carrie Underwood says spontaneous skydiving idea came while enjoying 'some good Australian wine'

She leaped out of a plane in Sydney last week, while enjoying time off between shows.

And Carrie Underwood, 33, revealed her spontaneous decision to go skydiving came after a few glasses of wine.

While speaking to Sunrise on Tuesday, the country music star said: 'That might have been an Aussie wine inspired idea, I may have had a glass of wine or two... some good Australian wine'.

'I'm not a big drinker, I call it Mum juice. My child is at home, he is back at home with my husband and mum deserves a little glass of wine here and there.'

She added: 'I'm really not [adventurous] but I feel like every once in a while like I have to do things out of my comfort zone.'

Carrie, who is currently in the midst of her joint Australian with Keith Urban, shared photos of her skydiving adventure to Instagram on Sunday.

The stunning American wife of Canadian Ice Hockey player Mike Fisher challenged fans on Instagram to guess what she was doing that day, giving hints with a fun song medley.

'See if you can guess what we're doing today,' she excitedly asked the camera before kicking off with John Denver's I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane.

After that came The Pointer Sister's Jump, Tom Petty's Freefallin' and Chris Stapleton's Parachute.

And true to her word, the country star made the leap 14,000 ft above Oz, capturing some pretty amazing selfies on the way down.

'Still can't believe I did this! #skydiving #sydney,' she captioned her final snap at the door, with a look of mixed terror and exhilaration frozen on her face.
