Taking to secret-sharing app Whisper, anonymous posters revealed they were the product of incest and that they were embarrassed to talk about their two dads in public.

People have taken to Whisper to reveal their adoption tales. One anonymous person wrote: 'I'm adopted and discovered that I'm the product of incest. No one will ever know and I'm taking this secret to the grave with me'

Parents and guardians of adopted children also shared their secrets including one mother who dyes her hair every few weeks so her son doesn't find out he is adopted. 

One poster said: 'My adopted daughter doesn't know that I'm actually her uncle and not her dad and that I adopted her when her parents died in a car accident.'

Another commenter said: 'I was adopted at birth by my two dads - I love them but I keep it a secret from people and I feel horrible but I don't want them to judge me or my dads.'
