On cloud nine! Mel Gibson, 60, wins Critics' Choice Award after cuddling up to pregnant girlfriend Rosalind Ross, 26, as actor prepares to welcome his NINTH child

He's a fixture on this season's red carpets after garnering critical acclaim for his latest film, Hacksaw Ridge.

And Mel Gibson was one happy camper on Sunday evening, after his film won Best Action Movie at the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

On the red-carpet, 60-year-old Mel beamed for the cameras as he cuddled up to his pregnant 26 -year-old girlfriend Rosalind Ross, who showed off her baby bump in a glamorous Olvi's gown.

The Australian star looked dapper in a navy tuxedo, while sporting what has become his signature  bushy beard.

Rosalind, an ex-equestrian vaulter, wore a black lace dress that accentuated her burgeoning baby bump. 

The sides of her frock were sheer and showed off her tummy area.

The brunette beauty is the first love interest to emerge publicly with Mel since his infamous 2010 split with his former flame, Oksana Grigorieva.

Hacksaw Ridge, which looks to be Gibson's re-entry into show business in the wake of the multiple scandals, had a modest box office in its opening weekend with a $14.75 million, third-place finish, well behind Doctor Strange ($85 million) and Trolls ($45.6 million).

In January of 2010, he was again outcast by Hollywood after a series of recordings of him verbally abusing ex-partner Oksana Grigorieva surfaced on Radar Online.
