If there is one man who knows how to do things lavishly it's Conor McGregor, and the UFC superstar this week has decided to take a private jet to get Texan fried chicken.

At least that is what the 28-year-old fighter has suggested on Instagram, after posting an image of himself and his entourage outside a 'TFC' eatery.

McGregor is still on cloud nine after becoming the first man in the history of UFC to hold title belts at two weigh divisions.

The Irishman is taking time out to relax following his emphatic victory over Eddie Alvarez at New York's Madison Square Garden.

In the image, shared with his 8.8million social media followers, McGregor can be seen sitting in the centre of the table, holding a drink aloft in toast to the camera.

The party look to be in high spirits, with others following the topless McGregor in raising their glasses.

The Dubliner simply captioned the snap: 'Private jet to Texas Fried Chicken.'

It's been a hectic week for the UFC superstar who, while still showing no signs of slowing down his post fight celebrations, also has another reason to smile.

McGregor has been confirmed to featured in the next series of HBO's blockbuster series Game of Thrones.

Rumours had been circulating that McGregor could be set to make a cameo appearance, and this week UFC president Dana White confirmed the speculation was in fact correct.

'I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show,' White told Fox Sports.

'And I'm glad he did it. It'll be great.'
