Adam Thomas reveals he was so drunk during last This Morning interview that he doesn't remember it... as he claims I'm A Celeb cut scenes of him 'sobbing uncontrollably on his knees'

He seemed rather tipsy while being interviewed on This Morning last week - and Adam Thomas has since revealed he was so drunk, he doesn't even remember it.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Tuesday morning, the 28-year-old Emmerdale hunk said he had always wanted to be on the show but his memory was hazy as the chat happened halfway through I'm A Celeb's afterparty.

He said: 'This is my first time in the studio. The first time, (via VT) I can't remember, but I always wanted to do it.'

Adam also said I'm A Celeb production didn't include his incredibly emotional scenes after he completed 11 trials.

He continued: 'No one saw my reactions, but each time, I would break down and cry like a baby. The trials were at 2am and I had never known fear like it.

'I was sobbing. On my knees crying. I was so scared of the spiders but you either have to scream or keep it in and if you keep it in, you end up crying.'

Adam said the experience of being in the jungle was so much harder than he thought, so much so, that he wouldn't do it again.

He also said he really got on well with controversial campmate, Martin Roberts, while others had been accused of bullying him.

'I loved Martin,' Adam roared. 'There was a divide and excitement when he and Danny [Baker] came into camp late, which actually made it better.'

He's got it going on: Adam looked rather handsome wearing skinny jeans and an edgy leather biker jacket

Adam also addressed rumours that he was leaving Emmerdale and heading for Hollywood.

Answering the question with a ginormous laugh, he said: 'Really? I wish I was.'

Adam seemed very giddy and giggly when he joined co-star Joel Dommett on This Morning on December 5.

The boys left their party halfway through to do the interview, following their triumphant turn on the much-loved show, leaving hosts Holly and Phil in hysterics.

'They're going to have a RIOT': Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were in hysterics on Monday during Adam's last interview with them on December 5

Talking about Adam's infectious laugh, Joel burst out with: 'You try living with it for three weeks.'

Holly then asked Joel what he had learned while being on the show and he joked: 'I'm so happy I beat Adam.'

Adding: 'I just love beating Adam. I also learned that I shouldn't be on the phone as much.'

Earlier in the day, Joel spoke to Lorraine, where he said that he wasn't really a big drinker.

'I might have a thimble of booze tonight,' he told her, explaining that he wasn't going too wild.

Adding: 'Then I am going to go and sleep in the corner.'

Busy Joel also spoke to Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain earlier that day, where he admitted he had 'met someone before the show' who he was hoping to reconnect with.

Taken? While he may have enjoyed some flirty banter with Carol Vorderman in the jungle, it seems that Joel, 30, won't be pursuing a romance with his campmate

Speaking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Monday's Good Morning Britain, the Impractical Jokers star finally put pay to rumours of his attraction to Carol, 55.

Being the only singletons in this year's competition, and following a series of flirty moments fans of the reality show were left questioning if sparks might fly between the two.

But when quizzed about his love-life by Piers and Susanna, Joel admitted his heart had already been stolen by another, explaining:

Over the course of the past three weeks fans saw Joel's cheeky charm win over his fellow campmates - in particular, Carol.

The pair's flanter (flirty banter) even saw bosses use the idea of a romance between the pair as the basis for one of the camp's secret trials.

And it seems that Piers was keen to grill Joel on his relationship with Carol, despite the actor and comedian's romantic admission.

He added: 'It was fun to flirt with her. It was wonderful, but then I also flirted with Adam!'

You won't find that on the menu! Despite clearly enjoying his time in the jungle, Joel said he was so excited when he arrived at the hotel after last night's final he ate three cheesecakes

Back to reality: He admitted to Piers and Susanna that as soon as he got back to the hotel, he 'ate two cheesecakes, hopped in the shower and then had another one'

Recalling the celebrities' daily visits to the dunny, he explained he always had a parting message for Carol as she went to the bathroom.

Grinning as he revealed the Countdown-inspired quip, Joel said: 'I used to as ask her if it was, "One from the bottom Carol?".' A reference to her job on Countdown.
