He was spotted jogging with his protégée Madison Beer on Monday.

And Justin Bieber still had plenty of energy left the following day as he went for another run, this time solo, in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old singer - who is currently on a break from his Purpose World Tour - looked sporty in a grey hoodie and black shorts and leggings for the outing on a hiking trail.

He kept the sweat off his brow with a red bandanna.

Bieber came bolting down a hill and ran straight past waiting photographers as he jumped back into his SUV.

On Monday Bieber seemingly didn't mind being recognized as he wore a soccer shirt with his name emblazoned on the back.

Justin and Madison's exercise date seemed serendipitous in timing, as just the day before she revealed on Twitter that she was releasing some new music.

'I CANT WAIT TO RELEASE THIS MUSIC,' she roared in all caps to her 2million followers.

Meanwhile Bieber almost managed to almost get into fisticuffs yet again while joining in a beer league pickup ice hockey game in LA.

The Canadian pop prince was spotted on the ice at the Toyota Sport Center where the LA Kings train.

It came just weeks after Bieber hit a fan in Barcelona, Spain, through the open window of his car.
