'With our beautiful children': Mariah Carey and her twins take sweet photo on power playdate with Beyonce and Blue Ivy after holiday concert

They're two of the biggest super stars on the planet.

But family always comes first for doting mothers Beyonce and Mariah Carey.

The ladies took another epic holiday snap with their children as Beyonce, 35, visited Mariah, 46, at her holiday concert, Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You, in New York on Sunday.

Beyonce's little girl Blue Ivy, age four, played with a large red fan as she wore a pleated purple skirt, a white sweater, and a pink headband atop her braided hair.

Mariah's five-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, wore matching red for the festive occasion.

Monroe wore a white scarf, red coat, and checkered hat, while her brother rocked a crimson sweater and jeans.

'Backstage at Christmas time with our beautiful children. @beyonce,' Mariah captioned the image, including the hashtags  '#christmas #family #love.'

Star power! Mariah and Beyonce posed for a rare and epic selfie together at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday

The photo was posted shortly after the two chart-toppers took an epic selfie with each other.

'I love you @beyonce,' Mariah gushed in the caption of the photo, which appeared to be taken backstage of her show. 'thank you sooooo much for coming out tonight! (lips emoticon).'

The star is only performing a few more days of her show Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You, and it seems Beyonce was keen on catching her before her series ended.

Back for more: Mariah, pictured performing on December 5, will continue her holiday concert series, Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You, on December 11, 13, 14, and 15

Beyonce looked casual and rather low-key with hardly a stitch of makeup on.

She did, however, cut a very stylish figure with her black wide-brim hat, bomber jacket, and silver chain necklace.

Mariah was of course dressed to the nines, being the star of the show that night.

The former American Idol judge wore a layered necklace while rocking a plunging top, long lashes, and pink blush.

All that glitters! Carey had the audience in the palm of her hand while performing on December 5

Do diva chic in an embellished gown like Mariah's

No one could ever accuse Mariah Carey of subtlety. Especially when it comes to her fashion choices.

The diva (and we use that term as a compliment) is high octane all the way, even wearing an Alaïa maxi dress and platform heels when she takes her children to the park. So when she's planning her on stage outfits you know the instructions are for bling, bling and more bling.

And you just can't get more blinged up than this gown by Kuwaiti label Labourjoisie. Designed in collaboration with Ms Carey herself it's encrusted with countless Swarovski crystals and is a longer length version of the mini Kendall Jenner wore at her recent 21st.

If you wanted to have this recreated for your own party season wardrobe you'd need to have a huge £12,535 available to spend so if that's not you then why not check out our edit of more affordable dresses below?

Missguided has our top pick or Prettylittlething.com has a total bargain that's hard to beat.

Beyonce, meanwhile, is enjoying a well-deserved break after a grueling world tour.

From April 27 to October 7, the chart-topper was on the road for her Formation World Tour.

The star is poised to be back in the spotlight very soon, having been nominated for an impressive nine Grammy awards, including album of the year, pop performance, and song of the year.
