Every time they step out together, mother and daughter duo Kym Marsh and Emilie Cunliffe seem to look more and more like one another.

The resemblance was as striking as ever at Tuesday evening's Wish Upon A Sparkle launch in Manchester.

The youthful looking 40-year-old Kym posed next to her 18-year-old daughter as they indulged in a spot of festive face painting and took selfies together.

The brunettes looked more like sisters thanks to Kym's flawless complexion and Emilie's glam appearance.

The pair kept it sleek and dark in high-necked, all-black ensembles.

Keeping their dark locks loose over their shoulders, both wore black coats, protecting them from the chilly night air.

Emilie wore a long black trench over a rusty coloured polo neck sweater, black trousers and black boots.

Her Coronation Street actress mother wore a black high-necked jumper, black skinny jeans and heeled boots and a dark leather jacket.

Their make-up was kept relatively clear and clean as they were painted by make-up artists with elaborate face decorations.

The ladies were adorned with sparkles around the eyes and seemed to enjoy showcasing the festive designs.

Also in attendance was Stephanie Davis' former flame Sam Reece who kept it very casual in a baseball cap, black jacket and ripped dark jeans.
