Take that Pratt: Jennifer Lawrence got revenge on co-star Chris by painting over his face on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday

Mud in his eye: She then celebrated her rebellious antics by taking a shot

The chat show host himself pitched in by scoring out the film's title, leaving the word 'ass' then drawing an arrow that pointed to the beefcake.

It was Jimmy who instigated the no doubt off-the-cuff incident when he brought to her attention a series of selfies he had posted alongside his 'friend Jennifer Lawrence.'

The former comedy favourite, who shot to fame in Parks And Recreation, deliberately obscured her face, one time even holding a script in front of her face as they sat together.

Musing about his antics, which came after he suggested they take snaps together to promote their film, she said: 'Its always a bad sign when Chris seems sincere about something.'

Wind her up and watch her go: Jimmy instigated the tantrum by asking her about a series of jocular selfies posted by her co-star

Slap in the face: Whenever they posed for 'promotional' photos together he would obscure her famous features

''F*** it': She then stormed outside so she could 'do something about it'

Face like the back end of a bus: The double decker then showed up with their photographs on the side

Jimmy then pressed her by asking whether she will be getting her own back on the Guardians Of The Galaxy hunk.

The 25-year-old replied, 'F*** it I'm going to do something about it,' then stormed off the set and outside the Hollywood Masonic Temple, where the bus then, conveniently, rolled up.

She then teamed up with Jimmy and painted all over the side of the bus, before throwing the cans of paint to the fans on top of the vehicle.

Look at her Van Gogh: She then grabbed her paint can and ran over to the bus

Expression-ing herself: She seemed to take great delight in scrawling over her leading man

The Monet shot: But Jimmy arguably made the funniest contribution by labelling Chris an 'ass'

Before her lighthearted graffiti revenge, Jennifer had said she was bored of talking about the science fiction romance, in which she and Chris play passengers on a migrating spaceship that wake up almost 100 years to early as they ehad to a new planet.

She said: 'I cant talk about this movie any more. Its not that its not good - you can see Chris Pratt's butt.'

Jennifer also talked at length about being at remarkable length about being hypochondriac, revealing she even googles images of bacteria she believes she is infected with.

She also claimed a doctor said she had saved a friend's life by making her go to have a malignant mole checked.

Never mind the Pollacks: Jennifer had made her very own modern art masterpiece

So street: Jennifer was wearing a bejewelled corset top and black trouser suit

Bottoms up: Jimmy and his lackey joined her in knocking back a shot to celebrate
