From partying to pizza: Johnny Manziel tries a slice and throws it on the ground in bizarre video to cap off his 'legendary' weekend of antics after the Heisman Trophy ceremony

  • Host Dave Portnoy, tries and rates every pizza joint in Manhattan
  • Manziel gave Pronto Pizza an 8, but Portnoy said it was a terrible rating

Johnny Manziel decided to test out his pizza-tasting skills in a video with Barstool Sports, following a weekend of partying in New York for his birthday and with Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson.

Manziel appeared as a guest reviewer on Barstool's One Bite with Dave Portnoy, who tries every Manhattan pizza joint and rates it based off of one bite.

In the video, the pair are seen walking into Pronto Pizza located at 62 West 48th Street.

They then order a slice of cheese pizza before walking back outside and rating it.

Next came the pizza's score. Manziel gave the cheese pizza a whopping 8, but was mocked by Portnoy, who said that was 'one of the worst reviews' he'd ever had on the show. Portnoy gave the pizza a 4.7

'One bite, everybody knows the rules,' Portnoy said before the two chowed down on their slices of pizza.

Before rating the pizza, the two talked about Manziel's weekend celebrating with Heisman Trophy winner, Lamar Jackson.

Manziel said the weekend was 'legendary'.

Next came the pizza's score. 'Score from one to 10, what do you got?' Portnoy asks Manziel.

'Pretty good. I say it's like an eight,' Manziel said before admitting that he's from Texas and was no expert in judging pizza.

Portnoy then told Manziel that his score was 'one of the worst reviews' he'd ever had.

Manziel, in an attempt to redeem himself, said: 'I'll drop this pizza right now.'

He then gave the pizza score of four, but Portnoy said he wasn't able to change his score like that.

Portnoy gave the pizza a 4.7.

On Saturday, Manziel was in the crowd when University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson become the youngest player to win the Heisman Trophy.

He was quick to give 19-year-old Jackson a hug after his name was announced and whispered some unknown words of advice in his ear.

Manziel has become famous for his partying antics, a warning to this year's Heisman contenders of how fame and fortune can destroy an NFL career.

The 24-year-old was dropped by the Browns just two years into the $8.24million contract he signed in 2014.

The former quarterback was still allowed to keep $6.7million but has remained unemployed for the last 10 months.

But that doesn't mean Manziel hasn't been busy.

Manziel spent around $35,000 during pre-birthday celebrations and hit up a number of Los Angeles clubs to ring in his 24th year, Page Six reported.

Sources said Manziel started his birthday celebrations last Thursday at the LIV nightclub, where he ordered Armand de Brignac Champagne, a famed nightlife status symbol.

Manziel reportedly spent $5,000 - and considering a gold-plated 30-liter bottle can cost up to $110,000 including tip, his bill may have been relatively modest.

But he upped the ante the next two nights, appearing at the Rockwell nightclub where tables come with a $10,000 minimum, sources said.

He ordered 'parades' of Champagne, and his bill included magnums of the 'Ace of Spades' rose that cost $3,250 a bottle, Page Six reported.

On Sunday night, Manziel is said to have paid $10,000 for a table upon his return to LIV, where DJ Khaled was celebrating his birthday alongside big names like A$AP Rocky, Future, Lil Wayne and Kendall Jenner.

The disgraced quarterback was drafted by the Browns as the 22nd overall pick and scored some of the most coveted endorsement deals from Nike and McDonald's.

But Manziel soon faced problems both on and off the field, including a domestic violence charge, and the Browns dropped him in March.

He only played in 14 games over the court of his two-year NFL career.
