It is a day observed the world over by Swifties.

But it was Taylor Swift's girl squad that made sure the singer felt special on her 27th birthday on Tuesday.

Gigi Hadid led the well wishing train as she posted a sweet photo of the two looking fabulous as they hugged it out in a candid snap.

Another squad member, Karlie Kloss, got in on the fun, posting a Polaroid snap of the two of them making kissy faces to the camera.

She wrote on the post: 'Happiest of Birthdays to my ride or die @taylorswift. I feel blessed to count you as my friend, sister and partner in crime. Can't wait to celebrate together very soon'

She added a heart and cookie emoji to the end of her sweet message, basically summarizing their relationship, as the two are known to stay in and bake cookies at Taylor's New York City apartment.

Martha Hunt also posted a sweet message on Instagram: “Taylor! My life wouldn’t be the same without our spontaneous dance parties and all night conversations. I love how you never judge my moves and always teach me better ones Your resilience and passion for life inspire me every day. HBD @taylorswift.”

Todrick Hall shared an intimate snap of the two together at what appears to be one of the singers many homes.

Meanwhile, there is no word yet on what Taylor plans to do for her 27th birthday party.
