Life for John Legend couldn't get any sweeter.

The singer was the lucky recipient of a video message from his adorable daughter Luna on Tuesday.

Legend's gorgeous model wife Chrissy Teigen posted an Instagram video featuring their eight-month old child waving to her father.

Chrissy, 31, began her caption to the video by writing a note to her 37-year-old husband: 'We miss you, papa!! Can't wait for you to come home!'

In the video, the rosy cheeked bundle of joy appears sitting up while wearing a sweet pink onesie.

From behind the camera, you can hear her mama speaking softly.

Baby Luna then waves at the camera and to her multi-platinum daddy, who is away on tour in the UK.

In the video's caption, Teigen claps back at potentially nosy fans concerned about Luna's red cheeks.

In the caption, the Sports Illustrated cover girl makes it clear mother knows best when it comes to her child's health.

Her caption continues: 'Yes she has rosy eczema cheeks, yes we are taking care of it.

'No it's not a gluten allergy, no it's not our makeup, no it's not from our perfume, yes she's just a baby.'

'It’s a beautiful thing': The musician and model love parenthood and are hoping for more kids in the future. John told reporters 'We want to have a few more hopefully. Three or four. We'll play it by ear though'

The All Of Me superstar and his knock-out wife love being parents. In fact, the couple are already thinking about more kids.

When asked about the joy of parenthood, Legend said:

'It’s a beautiful thing. We want to have a few more hopefully. Three or four. We'll play it by ear though.'

Luna is the pair's first child. The couple welcomed her into the world April 14.
