The video starts off with Obama telling Murray, he wouldn't usually let supporters from the Windy City's other team inside.

Murray, a die-hard Cubs fan who celebrated his team's first World Series win in 108 years this November, shot back: 'It's probably not a coincidence that your popularity is at an all-time high.

'So, I would just stick with this is if I were you,' Murray said as he pointed to the large C emblazoned on his Cubs sweater, adding: 'I would just ride this baby.'

When Obama declared: 'It's not going to happen,' Murray didn't miss a beat when he came back with: 'It's going to happen long before you make this putt.'

The Caddyshack actor easily sunk a number of golf balls into the makeshift hole - a glass cup lying on the floor - while Obama had a near miss.

When Obama pulled a shot and missed the cup, Murray bent over to pick up the ball, only to stagger back, saying: 'My knee barks a little bit.'
