After investigating, an Owasso police sergeant called it 'the worst case of child abuse he'd ever seen'

Owasso police were called to the city's urgent care center on reports of suspected abuse to see the children's conditions.

After investigating, the police sergeant called it 'the worst case of child abuse he'd ever seen'. According to KJRH, a nurse told officers that she saw a maggot crawl out of one of the infant's genitals.

The other child had a piece of hair wrapped so tightly around her finger that it had festered and become a wound.

Miller told police she didn't have health insurance and wasn't sure how to provide her children with healthcare

Neither of the couple's children has reportedly seen a doctor since birth

Feces were also found in one of the child's ears, reports allege.

Miller told police that she and her husband didn't have experience taking care of babies, which is why their health was so poor.

She told police she didn't have health insurance and wasn't sure how to provide them healthcare, according to Tulsa World. Neither child has reportedly seen a doctor since birth.

According to her Facebook page, Miller has worked at Macy’s Fulfillment Center since early this year.

Due to 'overwhelming evidence', the couple was arrested. They are being held on $100,000 bail.
