Kanye West's protege Lupe Fiasco 'officially not making music anymore' after being accused of anti-semitism

While Kanye West was making waves for meeting Donald Trump his protege was quitting music.

Lupe Fiasco took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he was not releasing anymore music and his upcoming three albums are cancelled.

The statement comes just after the 34-year-old rapper - real name Wasalu Muhammad Jaco - was accused of antisemitism based off the lyrical content from a freestyle he released earlier this week.

Moving on: Lupe Fiasco took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he was not releasing anymore music and his upcoming three albums are cancelled

In the track titled N.E.R.D., he definitely raised eyebrows as he said:  Artists gettin’ robbed for their publishing / By dirty Jewish execs who think that it’s alms from the covenant.'

Shortly after, he got into it with fans on Twitter and defended his lyrics as he wrote: 'I’ve walked inside the ovens of Auschwitz' and 'I've studied the Hebrew bible.'

He also claimed that his song had been taken off SoundCloud for 'hate speech' but it is still up for streaming.

He's done: He later said his three albums are cancelled

Peace out: This was his last tweet before locking his Twitter

Still swinging: Lupe is pictured throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game back in September

Finally when the Chicago artist had had enough he wrote: 'Yo Lupe fans it's been fun and I hope you've had fun. I'm officially not releasing anymore music. Albums cancelled.'

He later wrote: 'Getting beat up for telling the truth is not how I plan on spending the rest of life.'

His Twitter has since been locked.

Dynamic duo: He made his name being featured on 2005 Kanye West single Touch The Sky and has worked closely with the 39-year-old rapper for over a decade, as they are pictured together in Chicago back in August 2006

No doubt the announcement is a hit to his loyal fanbase as earlier this year he announced that he would be releasing three albums in 2016 but later pushed the release dates back.

As Kanye recently suffered a mental breakdown, Lupe stopped the concert to share his thoughts about the husband of Kim Kardashian.

Sending his best: As Kanye recently suffered a mental breakdown, Lupe - pictured in Detroit back in April - stopped the concert to share his thoughts about the husband of Kim Kardashian

He said:  'We want to send prayers out to my big bro Kanye. He say a lot of goofy s*** sometimes, but he from Chicago, so it don’t even f***ing matter.'

This is not the first time Lupe has quit the biz as he said he previously claimed he was retiring in 2012 and also quit Twitter in 2015 but eventually returned.

Lupe's last album Tetsuo & Youth was released in January 2015.
