Hailey Baldwin's career may be on a stratospheric trajectory, but one place you won't see her any more is Snapchat.

The 20-year-old bombshell visited Australia recently and revealed to Elle Magazine she has deleted her Snapchat account.

Partaking in a rapid fire video interview, Baldwin was asked for her favourite Snapchat filter and answered simply 'I deleted Snapchat'.

Hailey has had complicated relationship with social media, sharing her Snapchat handle haileyisboring with fans via Instagram in April, but has come under intense scrutiny over her posts relating to Justin Bieber.

The young model has amassed more than 8 million followers on Instagram and almost a million Twitter followers, but she says she has pared back her social media use - and particularly her consumption.

During a different part of her Australian tour she told the Sun Herald that she decided to delete Snapchat - and temporarily Facebook - because 'it makes me really distracted sometimes'.

'I was getting so sucked into watching and reading things I just didn't want to know,' she continued, hinting at the abuse she received when dating Justin Bieber earlier in the year.

But while explaining she found social media toxic for her well-being, she acknowledged she still uses Instagram.

'I don't have an app for it [Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook] on my phone, just Instagram,' Hailey told Fairfax Media.

Hailey's comments came just days before she decided to reactivated her Facebook account.

To celebrate the rebirth of her forum, she shared an image of herself with the caption: 'I'm back on Facebook!!'

The model has since shared a range of images of herself, including modelling shoots, travelling, as a young child and with best friend Bella Hadid.

Last month, Hailey took to her Twitter account to take a swipe at U.S President-Elect Donald Trump. after he hit out at her uncle, Alec Baldwin, on his personal account.

'And your spray tans are still orange. Sad,' she wrote after the politician posted: 'Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad.'
