The Duchess of Cornwall has praised BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour as part of the 'soundtrack' to her life and a 'living social history' at an event marking the programme's 70 years on air.
Camilla, 69, attended a reception for the radio show, which aims to offer a 'female perspective on the world', at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
It came on the eve of the unveiling of the Woman's Hour Power List 2016, and guests included leading feminist Germaine Greer, Sixties model Twiggy and Baroness Doreen Lawrence, who was deemed a 'game-changer' in the 2014 list.
The Duchess of Cornwall today described BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour as the 'soundtrack to her life' as she attended an event celebrating the 70th anniversary of the show
This year, the list coincides with the programme's 70th anniversary and intends to celebrate seven women who have made the biggest impact on women's lives since the show's launch in 1946.
Listeners were invited to make suggestions for a shortlist, which was then passed to a judging panel including award-winning screenwriter Abi Morgan, former Woman's Hour editor Jill Burridge and business leader Baroness Karren Brady.
A woman's body of work and its impact on the lives of other women were among the qualities considered by the judges.
While there she met with other female influencers including aid to Sir Alan Sugar Karren Brady

In an address to the reception, the Duchess garnered laughs when noting that the programme's first presenter was, in fact, a man.
She added: 'Like so many of us, I grew up with Woman's Hour - it was part of the soundtrack to my life.
'It is a living social history charting the changing attitudes to women as well as the changing attitudes of women themselves.'

Camilla seemed delighted to meet the host of one of her favourite shows Jenni Murray
She told guests it was a 'huge pleasure to acknowledge this magnificent milestone' and said the programme's origins as a show just for housewives had been 'left far behind'.
'So it's not surprising that the number of listeners is higher than ever and that its audience is made up of both women and men,' she added.
One such man is Twiggy's husband, Leigh Lawson, who confessed he liked to listen in because it felt a bit like eavesdropping.

Twiggy said she and Camilla enjoyed catching up and comparing notes on the joys of having grandchildren
He joked: 'You never know what you girls talk about in the powder room.'

She told the Press Association: '(The Duchess) said you look really well, and I said it's because our kids have had kids and we're on cloud nine. So we were talking grandchildren.'
Later, Camilla shared a moment with influential writer Greer, who at one point told the Duchess: 'You'd be surprised how often I bite my tongue - not as often as you do.'
