Snow romantic! Love Island's Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen warm up with a steamy smooch as they enjoy date night at ice-skating rink

They fell head over heels for each other on ITV2's Love Island this summer.

But Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen proved their relationship could survive the bitter chill of winter as they headed to London's Broadgate Ice Rink for a skate on Tuesday.

Alex, 24, looked absolutely smitten as he helped his girlfriend Olivia, 22, balance on the ice on a seal prop before warming things up with a steamy smooch.

Wrapped up warm for their festive evening out, the two reality stars looked every inch the loved-up couple as they glided around the rink.

Olivia couldn't resist injecting sex appeal to her ensemble with a red lace top underneath a scarlet faux-fur lined cape, which she teamed with skinny leather trousers. 

The former sales executive completed her wintry look with a burgundy-coloured bobble hat and heavy make-up, while debuting flowing blonde Rapunzel-style hair extensions. 

Not to be outdone, Alex also looked stylish in a pair of ripped grey jeans and hooded camo jacket.

Clearly infatuated with each other, the twosome took a moment to share a passionate kiss before resuming the skating duties. 

Not quite ready to glide on the ice by herself, Olivia bagged herself a toy seal which helped her gain some momentum. 

Ensuring he wasn't far from his other half, Alex stood behind the seal to push her around before foregoing the balancing prop completely. 

Despite being quite shaky on the ice, with the help of each other the genetically-gifted pair managed to avoid any embarrassing slips.

Alex and Olivia found love during the second season of ITV2 show Love Island and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

The handsome star recently moved into his girlfriend's Wolverhampton home, and the pair bought an adorable French bulldog puppy together called Reggie.

Speaking to MailOnline's FEMAIL about her beau, Olivia recently gushed: 'I know it sounds cliché but I honestly don’t think it could be any better.

'When I’m with him it just feels so right, it’s like nothing I’ve experienced before. My mum always told me that when you find The One you’ll see why your past relationships weren’t right. Alex is The One.'

The smitten pair have recently enjoyed a getaway to Barbados, where the blonde beauty's Instagram was lined with enviable sun-soaked snaps.

And the couple are even planning on spending the festive period together.

Olivia added in an interview with MailOnline: 'We’ll obviously be together for Christmas.

'I’d love to get both our families together for it so we’ll see. Then Alex and I are going to New York for New Year and my birthday so that will be very special.'  

Discussing how Love Island has changed her life, Olivia said: 'I think it’s changed my life to some degree but it’s not changed me and the latter is really important, I’ve seen quite a few people mess that bit up.

'I’m still that Olivia who loves a good party and a McDonalds breakfast and that will never change; just fortunately I don’t have to be tied to a desk in an office selling pens anymore!'
