But fans finally found out how Geordie Shore Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers ended their romance in Tuesday night's episode.

The drama started with Marnie - who is now dating Lewis Bloor - throwing a drink over Marty McKenna after he smooched two girls in a club, despite his on/off romance with Chloe Ferry.

The move prompted her beau Aaron to step in and berate Marnie for her antics.

He told Marty: 'For some reason, Marnie swilled you. So I grabbed her and said why have you just done that? This is not your argument. This has nothing to do with you.

Then talking to camera, he added: 'I hope it’s not Marnie’s birthday. She’s getting nothing from me.

'Last night, Marnie swilled Marty for necking on with two birds. It was none of her business and now she’s p**sed off with me for telling her she’s in the wrong. We haven’t spoken since.'

Chloe admitted later: 'I don’t feel confident anymore, he’s made us feel very small. No boy has ever made us feel like this insecure about myself.

'I think he gets to us so much is because I like him so much. I thought I was good looking and now I just feel so ugly all the time.'
