Volunteer firefighter Jonathan Antovel has been arrested on a charge of first-degree rape after allegedly sexually assaulting a former NYPD cop after a party at his station house this month

A Long Island volunteer firefighter has been arrested for allegedly raping a former NYPD cop and sending pictures of the attack to friends.

The incident reportedly happened on December 10 when Jonathan Antovel and the unidentified victim went to a party at his station house in Hauppauge, New York, police sources told the New York Post.

The two left the boozy mixer together and went back to Antovel's house, where the victim remembers passing out in his bedroom.

Once she was unconscious, Antovel reportedly stripped her clothes off and raped her - sending photos of the attack to some of his friends.

At least two of those friends were in the NYPD, and one of them reported the photos immediately to the Internal Affairs Bureau in Suffolk County - where the rape allegedly occurred.

The officer was brought in for an interview, and later Antovel was arrested on a charge of first-degree rape.

The victim served 10 years in the NYPD.

Antovel was arrested because he took pictures during the attack and sent them to friends, one of whom reported him to the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau
