MailOnline has contacted Kimberley's representative, who had no further comment to add.
Earlier this week, the Sound Of The Underground hitmaker shared a sweet snap of herself cradling her baby bump, embracing the festive spirit in a Santa hat.
'Getting excited to meet this little one! #christmasbaby #ifonlysantacouldpopitdownthechimney', she captioned the image.
Kimberley announced she was pregnant in June, telling Hello! magazine: 'Before I had even taken a test, I knew it instinctively.'
The pair welcomed their first son, Bobby, in September 2014.

Boys Aloud: Kimberley and Justin - who have been together for 14 years - had kept the sex of their second child private until now
Expanding their brood: The pair welcomed their first son Bobby in September 2014. Kimberley recently said: 'I think it would be lovely for Bobby to have a little brother so close in age'
Kimberley and Triple 8 band member Justin have been together for 14 years, and exchanged vows at St James Parish Church in Barbados back in January this year.
The singer previously admitted the first stage of her pregnancy was not plain sailing.
Chatting to OK! magazine, the star admitted: 'The first few months were tough with sickness and tiredness.'
She also revealed that the couple do not have a preference over the baby's sex, but just wishes it to be healthy.
Family oriented: The star recently told Femail That welcoming a child changes your life - but 'in a good way, of course'
She said: ' I think it would be lovely for Bobby to have a little brother so close in age but I'd also love to have a daughter, so I can't really lose.'
Kimberley recently opened up about her experience of motherhood in an interview with Femail.
Recalling the first few weeks with her newborn, Bobby, Kimberley candidly recalls: 'The first two weeks phased me a little… you can't quite get your head around the intensity of those first few weeks, when it's literally just you and them and every minute of every day is just living to keep them alive.
Back in the day: Kimberley is pictured with her former Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle in 2004. The band - who were formed on reality contest Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 - split in March 2013 following a reunion tour
'I wasn't going to try and keep up appearances or try and do anything, I was like I'm going to hibernate, I'm going to learn…and I'm just going to live every hour as it comes. That really helped me get through those first few weeks.'
Kimberley also admitted there's no 'off switch' 24/7 and that welcoming a child changes your life - but 'in a good way, of course.'
In preparation for her first baby, who's now two, Kimberley explained that she didn't read too much about things or obsess over opinions of how you should parent because, she says, every child is different.
