Wedding bells? Engaged Hollywood power couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are rumoured to have settled on their wedding location, with a source telling OK! magazine this week that they will exchange 'I dos' in the picturesque beachside town of Byron Bay

'Miley's usually really open, but this is one thing she's being secretive about. She doesn't want any of the details getting out.

The insider added: 'She's sworn her family to secrecy. They've all made a pact not to say anything.'

Last month, the 24-year-old pop star's sister Noah said the couple was yet to set a wedding date.

The wedding report comes amid claims Miley and her 26-year-old actor fiance are edging closer to buying a $4.5 million Byron Bay property right next door to Liam's Hollywood superstar brother Chris.

Miley is said to be considering a gig on the next series of The Voice Australia and she would no doubt need permanent accommodation Down Under.

A real estate source told The Daily Telegraph last week that Chris is urging the young couple to make the purchase.

New neighbours: The engaged couple are reportedly motivated to purchase after visiting Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky who live nearby

'They were in town about two or three weeks ago, his (Liam's) brother would have been the one to tell them about the property,' the source told the paper.

'It is so private and such a beautiful area. It has its own private beach and there is only one private road in. You'd practically need a chopper to get in there if you wanted to get pictures of them.'

The couple are said to be interested in the palatial 12,500 square metre property in Broken Head, about 10km from Byron Bay.

Luxury: The $4.5 million property is set over 12,000 square feet surrounded by lush untouched rainforest
