'I nearly lost my wife and daughter': Keane frontman Tom Chaplin revealed he stayed awake for FOUR nights following cocaine relapse and feared he would have a HEART ATTACK
He previously admitted he was a 'complete mess' by the end of 2014 due to drug use.
And Keane frontman Tom Chaplin appeared on Loose Women on Tuesday to talk about his addiction and mental health battle.
Having just released a solo album, The Wave, the 37-year-old revealed he's finally back on the straight and narrow following 'a moment of clarity.'

He said: 'I was quite self-conscious and scared of life, so I think for me, being the frontman in a band was my way of saying, "look at me, world".
'Underneath though, I was a mess. I couldn't manage my emotional side so I self-medicated.'
Talking about 2014, Tom said that the year was both a wonderful and terrible time for him.

He told the panel: 'I had hit a creative brick wall and I hit the drugs again in a big way. My daughter was born that year, so for a while, I was the happiest man alive'

'But the drugs started to take me away from her and my wife Natalie [Dive, who he married in 2011]. They can take you away from the things in your life that make you happy.'
He said: 'My wife has stuck by me for years. I love her to bits.'
Tom, who has had five number one albums with Keane talked about the moment things all came to a head in 2015.

He said: 'I was at my friend's house, up for three or four days without any sleep and I did cocaine non-stop. I felt like I was having a heart attack.
'I then had this realisation that I was losing everyone. My wife, my daughter, my life. I felt in that moment, if I wake up tomorrow and I'm still alive, I'll change.'
Tom, who was admitted to the Priory in 2006, said that now he's on the mend, he still dreams of using drugs three or four times a week.
He said: 'The sense of relief I have when I wake up and it's not real. I know I don't want to go back. It feels too real.'
