'There's nothing sexy about it!': Chris Pratt says getting naked with Jennifer Lawrence on Passengers was far from sizzling

They might be two of Hollywood's hottest stars, but that doesn't mean their on-set passion gets them revved up.

Chris Pratt talked to People on Wednesday about what it was like filming a sex scene with his co-star Jennifer Lawrence for the film Passengers.

'There's nothing sexy about it!' said the husband of Anna Faris.

 He felt uncomfortable: The star then added, 'It's just really awkward!'

As weird as it felt being a part of this, the 37-year-old star made sure that Jennifer was comfortable.

'Essentially it's your job to minimize the discomfort by making sure it's a closed set and assuring the person you're with that they're okay,' the  actor revealed.

'And you know - for all the sense of anxiety that comes with leading up to a scene like this - you get into it and you realize there's nothing sexy about it at all. It's just really awkward!'

The Jurassic World star then said: 'It's part of the gig, so you just do what you can to try and ease any discomfort the other person feels.'

Despite the awkwardness of this scene, these two managed to become good pals over the course of filming.

'I got pretty lucky that she's awesome,' the Hollywood hunk said about The Hunger Games star. 'She's about as cool as you'd imagine. And more.'

It can be difficult to spend time away from his family while filming movies, but Skype is a great way for the actor to keep in touch.

'I just did it and made everybody wait so that I could at least say good morning and tell Jack the things I needed to tell him for the day,' the Minnesota native said.

'So it's just checking in every day. Thank God for technology.'

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star added that while tech communication is 'astounding,' it's nothing compared to being physically present with his wife and child.

'Nothing can substitute for actual face time - even FaceTime can't substitute being present and being able to physically hold your family,' he said. 

'But you do everything you can. But that's the one downside. The distance.'
