Veteran Hollywood actor Bernard Fox - who played the colorful Dr. Bombay on Bewitched and appeared in 1997's Titanic - dies at 89
Veteran Hollywood actor Bernard Fox has died.
He was 89.
The Welsh-born performer, who starred in Bewitched and Hogan's Heroes, passed away from heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital, a spokesperson for his family confirmed.

Fox was born in Port Talbot, Wales, in May 1927.
His first acting role was on the first series to be broadcast on commercial television in the UK - Sixpenny Corner in 1955.
He worked steadily in British TV before crossing the Atlantic and carving out a similar career as a jobbing actor in the USA.
He had recurring guest roles in The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Andy Griffith Show in the early 1960s and in 1965 landed the part of Colonel Crittendon in Hogan's Heroes.
In 1966 he was cast as Dr. Bombay in the beloved comedy Bewitched.

He had the distinction of appearing in two films about the sinking of the Titanic - first in an uncredited role as a lookout on board the doomed line in A Night To Remember in 1958, and then as Col. Archibald Grace in James Cameron's 1997 Oscar winner.
Fox played Dr. Watson opposite Stewart Granger's Sherlock Holmes in the 1972 television movie The Hound Of The Baskervilles.
He starred as Capt. Winston Havlock with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in 1999's The Mummy.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughter Amanda; daughter-in-law Lisa, and two grandchildren. Another daughter, Valerie, died in 2006.
In 1997, Fox played Col. Archibald Grace in James Cameron's Titanic (pictured with Billy Zane). He'd had an uncredited role in A Night To Remember, a 1958 film about the doomed liner
