'No one wants to marry me': Coldplay frontman Chris Martin jokes that he managed to 'fool' ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow into tying the knot 

He finalised his divorce from Gweneth Paltrow in July this year after 10 years of marriage. 

And Coldplay front-man Chris Martin, 39, has provided a rare update on his love life by joking that his chances of finding another wife are slim.

Speaking to KIIS FM's Sophie Monk and Matty Acton on Thursday, the British crooner joked: 'No one wants to marry me.'

'I'm just not really nice. I fooled one person once,' he went on. 

Chris was undoubtedly referring to his only former wife Gwyneth, who he married in December 2003. 

The pair share two children, daughter Apple, 12, and son Moses, 10.

Gwyneth filed for divorce the following month, citing irreconcilable differences.

She and Chris have remained amicable since their split, having recently spent Thanksgiving together with their children.

Meanwhile, Chris is currently wrapping up the Australian leg of Coldplay's world tour, having recently played a sell-out performance in Sydney.  

Speaking to the Today show about how he balances his personal life with his jet-setting career, Chris said: 'My kids are wonderful. We’ve staggered this tour a bit so we’re not away for six months at a time.'

'And I think that's why we’re all really loving it, because we get to miss it as well.'

Gwyneth is now dating television producer Brad Falchuk while Martin has been linked to actress Annabelle Wallis.
