Ben Affleck called her the 'greatest mom in the world' during an interview on Tuesday.

And the next day Jennifer Garner, 44, appeared to be just that.

The Miracles From Heaven actress looked attentive as she took son Samuel out in Los Angeles after her morning workout.

The actress appeared to be in top form as she shared a laugh with a friend during a stroll in Brentwood.

The 13 Going On 30 star bundled up warm against the chilly December Californian air, opting for a fur-lined coat and long-sleeved sweater to go with her trainers and tracksuit bottoms.

Jen's only son, four-year-old Samuel, got to solely enjoy all the mothering to himself, as his sisters - 11-year-old Violet and seven-year-old Seraphina - were absent.

The star was at one point spotted out with Violet, who wore a light blue skirt and black sweater.

During his TimesTalk interview The New York Times on Monday, Ben declared his three kids to be his greatest achievement.

'In my career or otherwise, it is the birth of my children,' he said. 'The entrance of my children into the world.

'It's a joy to hang out with them, I think the meaning of life is to make good people.'

Jen and Ben split announced their split on June 28, 2015, one day before their 10 year wedding anniversary.
