Lauren Jauregui didn't make it to Brazil in time to join her Fifth Harmony bandmates at an event on Wednesday.

The star - who was cautioned after being found to be in possession of weed at Dulles airport on Tuesday night - was missing from the group at the Audio Club event in Sao Paulo.

TMZ reports that the singer was making her way through security at the Washington DC airport when she was asked to submit to a secondary bag search.

Missing someone: It appears as though Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui didn't make it to Brazil on Wednesday after she was reportedly given a citation for marijuana possession at Dulles airport on Tuesday night

Citation: The 20-year-old was initially reported to have been arrested but her lawyer denied the claims, saying instead she was just cautioned and released in Washington DC

It was then that a TSA staff member discovered a small bag of marijuana in the 20-year-old's carry-on luggage and cops were then brought over to the checkpoint.

It was initially claimed the singer was arrested, however, Lauren's lawyer told TMZ that she only got a citation.

They added that the Cuban-American songstress was 'released on her own recognizance.'

Is she on her way? Lauren's lawyer said that the incident at Dulles airport would not impact any of the girls' concerts

Lauren was on her way to Brazil where Fifth Harmony are scheduled to be performing on Wednesday evening.

Her lawyer said the incident does not affect any concert dates - but it was hard not to noticed the fifth missing member in photographs taken on Wednesday.

Instead, Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Dinah Jane Hansen were seen holding down the fort without Lauren.

'I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it.

'I am proud to be part of a community that only projects love and education and the support of one another,' she added.

Lauren auditioned for the US version of The X Factor when she was just 16.
