Hilary seemed in good spirits, though was likely less than overjoyed when she took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to defend herself and her son against online haters.

She set the record straight after receiving a number of remarks condemning her for kissing her 4-year-old son's lips in a photo taken outside of the It's A Small World attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The image of Hilary and Luca was accompanied by her caption, 'Happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest place on earth! We love you @disneyland.'

But some followers were not feeling sentimental, as among the remarks, one poster wrote: 'I will not kiss my daughter on the mouth... I give her endless love without having to kiss her in the lips.'
