The Duchess of Cambridge can always be relied on to dress appropriately for any occasion.

Whether it's a state dinner, a tour of a far flung country or a casual meet and greet, she always gets it just right. And tonight as she visited some Cub Scouts in King's Lynn she was once again sartorially on point.

In a relaxed look of skinny jeans, grey polo neck knit and her favorite knee high boots from Really Wild Clothing, Kate was the picture of approachable chic. In fact we think she's probably more at home in this kind of outfit than in the designer gowns she wears so often.

At this time of year we need to make practical choices when it comes to our footwear so as much as we love a stiletto heel, we'll be sticking to flats like Kate. And these knee high numbers look great with jeans or would be sweet with a midi dress too.

So click (right) to pick up a pair now and give your feet a pre-Christmas treat.
