Oh no she didn't! Kerry Katona looks unsteady as she makes haphazard appearance at ice rink with her family during break from panto duty

She plays the fairy godmother in a new theatrical adaptation of enchanting pantomime favourite Cinderella.

But the magic touch she employs to good effect onstage appeared to elude Kerry Katona during a rather haphazard appearance at a Lincoln ice-rink on Monday afternoon.

The Atomic Kitten star, 36, was joined by her loved ones as she stepped out in the quaint East Midlands town, where she is in the midst of a four week run at the New Theatre Royal.

Mind out! Kerry Katona looked a little unsure of herself during an appearance at a Lincoln ice-rink on Monday afternoon

With Christmas looming Kerry appeared to be in the mood for some festive fun as she pulled on a pair of skates and hit the ice, but her shaky skating skills were undermined as she took a tumble.

The singer was promptly given a helping hand by 13-year old daughter Lilly-Sue, the second of her two children with former Westlife star Brian McFadden, who later suffered her own rather awkward fall as Kerry looked on helplessly.

Evidently finding humour in his sister's misfortune, eight-year old sibling Maxwell - Kerry's son with second husband Mark Croft - burst into hysterical fits of laughter as the hapless teen fell head over heel.

Comedy gold: The Atomic Kitten star looked on as hapless daughter Lilly Sue fell head over heel, much to younger brother Maxwell's amusement

A helping hand: Kerry was hoisted up by Lilly Sue after taking an awkward fall of her own

Feeling Whole Again: The pop singer appeared to regain her composure as she skated across the outdoor rink

Get your skates on! Kerry and her daughters, Lilly-Sue and  Heidi, soon got to grips with the treacherous ice

A Titanic effort: Kerry spread her arms wide, much like actress Kate Winslet in the 1998 blockbuster, a she attempted to keep her balance

Looking rather more sure of himself, Kerry's partner George Kay cradled their young daughter Dylan-Jorge, two, as he confidently glided across the rink.

The youngster later took her first tentative steps on the ice as doting parents Kerry and George held her hands.

Seemingly keen to make the most of her provincial surroundings, the singer soon traded the rink for the high street as she hit the shops.

Kerry is reportedly keen to renew her wedding vows with estranged husband George after parting ways in October following an alleged assault at the family home.

A source told The Mirror: 'They've had their ups and downs so they're not going to rush into it, but next year they want to cement their feelings for each other with a blessing and renewal of their vows.

'Because of their difficult past together, they are really focussing on being good for each other right now.

In the swing of it: Kerry was in high spirits as she navigated the rink with daughter Heidi

Don't try this at home: But the star clearly lacked confidence and frequently struggled to maintain her balance

That's my boy! Conversely Maxwell looked assured as he joined his mother on the ice

I do: Kerry is reportedly keen to renew her wedding vows with estranged husband George following their separation last October

'Kerry is already getting excited about another wedding though. She is in such amazing shape and has had lipo, and is now training and looking after her figure – partially in preparation for the big day.'

The pair first sparked reconciliation rumours in August, when they were spotted out together with their daughter Dylan-Jorge.

A source told Closer magazine: 'Kerry was torn over whether to take George back, and tried moving on, but she’s gradually telling friends they’ve grown close again and she can’t live without him.

'She’s agreed to forgive him for all the drama in the past and is determined to make their relationship work. She says he’s the only man who makes her happy.'

Out and about: The singer appeared to be keen on soaking up her surroundings during a fourb week stay in Lincoln, where she's playing the Fairy Godmother in popular pantomine Cinderalla

Quality time: Kerry made the most of her free time by spending it with her loved ones

Blending in: The family mingled with fellow shoppers as they browsed the high street
